Durga Puja 2026 (Sharadotsav) - IBCAA

The Indian Bengali Cultural Association of Adelaide (IBCAA) holds its Durga Puja - Sharadotsav - over three days from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October 2026 at Clovelly Park Memorial Community Hall, 6 York Avenue, Clovelly Park.

IBCAA describes Durga Puja as "an event for communities from different walks of life to join and celebrate" - unlike its members-only gatherings (Adda sessions, the AGM meet-and-greet, Saraswati Puja), the Puja is open to everyone in South Australia. Entry is ticketed, with members receiving discounted tickets, discounted food and early-bird registration. The ticket price for 2026 has not been published yet.

IBCAA has published the dates and the venue and states that further details will be provided before the event, so the day-by-day running order, the puja timings, the cultural programme and the food arrangements have not been released. IBCAA was founded by Bengali families in Adelaide in 2025 and ran its inaugural Durga Puja that year, drawing over 100 attendees.

Clovelly Park Memorial Community Hall is a community hall in Adelaide's southern suburbs, roughly 10 km from the CBD and a short walk from Clovelly Park railway station, with off-street parking at the hall.
