The tour runs 21 January – 3 March 2027, across five Test venues: Nagpur, Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, Ahmedabad. That is a proper five-Test contest — the long-form rivalry at full length — officially announced by Cricket Australia.

And looking further out, the T20 World Cup 2028 comes to Australia and New Zealand, from 21 October to 19 November 2028. That is the next confirmed chance to see India play on Australian soil — and they will arrive as defending champions, having won the 2026 T20 World Cup. The 2027 tour is the series to savour on screen; 2028 is the one to save for in person.
