About This Event
BAPS Perth hosts its Kids Diwali Celebration (KDC) at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Wangara on Saturday 31 October 2026, from 2pm to 8pm. The family event celebrates Indian culture and Hindu traditions, helping children learn the true meaning of Diwali through creativity, captivating stories and the spirit of seva (selfless service).
Kids Diwali Celebrations around Australia feature games and activities, face painting, costumed characters, a traditional Diwali show, cultural experiences, educational exhibitions, food and fireworks; BAPS notes that attractions vary by centre and are subject to change.
The celebration is inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj's words, "In the joy of others lies our own". Tickets are $5 for adults and $5 for children, with registration through the BAPS Perth Mandir booking page.
