About This Event
Marathi Association Perth Incorporated hosts a free Children's Week Cultural Connections Family Festival on Sunday 15 November, celebrating the 2026 Children's Week theme based on Article 30: children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion.
The family-friendly community event brings together children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds for arts and crafts, storytelling, cultural performances, language activities, music, games, face painting and interactive workshops.
The festival aims to promote children's rights, cultural understanding, social inclusion and community connection. Families are encouraged to share their cultures, traditions and languages, and activities are inclusive and suitable for children of all ages. It is a free event and everyone is welcome.
