Garba 2026 with Umesh Barot in Perth

Umesh Barot brings his live Garba night to Perth on Saturday 8 August 2026 at the Carey Baptist College Auditorium in Harrisdale. Doors open at 6:00pm and the performance starts at 6:30pm; the organisers list a running time of 3 hours, putting the finish at about 9:30pm.

Umesh Barot is one of the most celebrated voices in Gujarati folk music, known for high-energy performances, soulful singing and chart-topping Garba hits. Over a career spanning decades he has recorded more than 1,000 songs, and his live sets blend traditional Garba with modern beats. The night is performed in Gujarati and Hindi and is programmed as a straight Garba and raas evening rather than a seated concert, so come dressed to dance.

This is a strictly non-alcoholic event. Tickets are sold through Premier Tickets and start at $22 for the second release, with a per-ticket booking fee possibly applying - confirm the total before paying.
