Perth United Malayalee Association (PUMA) proudly presents an International Women’s Day celebration—an uplifting, power‑packed evening bringing together learning, music, and togetherness.
What to expect
- Informative talks designed to support families navigating the teenage years
- DJ Night to wrap up the evening with great vibes

Informative talk sessions (International Youth – “Count Her In”)
Topic 1: Bicultural generation
Our Teenagers — Rooted in India, growing in Australia
Presented by Mr. Jebin Jain, Senior Mental Health Social Worker (Fremantle Hospital).
Topic 2: Teenage parenting
A practical session covering hormonal changes, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation in teenagers.
Presented by Dr. Sajeev Kumar P. B, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist (Consultant in Fremantle Hospital).
Who should attend
Parents and caregivers—especially those with children aged 12+—are strongly encouraged to attend for clarity, confidence, and support through the teen years.
