About This Event
The Indian Society of Western Australia's Diwali Mela is the state's biggest Festival of Lights celebration, staged in the open air on Langley Park on the Perth foreshore. ISWA is a not-for-profit run entirely by volunteers for the welfare of people of Indian origin in WA, and the mela is its flagship public event of the year.
ISWA bills the 2026 edition as two evenings, on 31 October and 1 November. The published programme for Saturday 31 October runs 3:00pm to 9:00pm and promises stunning fireworks, live entertainment, mesmerising cultural performances, Indian food, vibrant market stalls and fun activities for the whole family - the festive open-air atmosphere Perth turns out for every year.
Performers, attractions and the detailed running order had not been announced when this listing was checked; ISWA says exciting announcements about performers and attractions are still to come, so watch its channels for the final line-up. No ticket price or ticketing link is published on the event listing.
Langley Park sits on the Terrace Road foreshore at the eastern end of the Perth CBD, a short walk from the city centre and the Free Transit Zone, with paid foreshore and CBD parking nearby - public transport is strongly advised for a mela of this size. The event is organised by the Indian Society of WA (ISWA), which also runs the annual Sangam program.
