About This Event
Shakktidhaam's published 2026 religious events calendar lists Navratri from Sunday 11 October to Monday 19 October 2026 at its Wangara temple - nine nights honouring the goddess Durga.
The temple does not publish a nightly running order in advance. It asks devotees to register through shakktidhaam.com.au and emails the detailed event programme to registered attendees roughly one week before each festival. No ticket or entry charge is listed for its calendar festivals - this is a temple observance rather than a ticketed garba night.
Shakktidhaam is a strictly plant-based vegan temple. No animal products of any kind may be offered to the deities, and visitors are asked not to wear leather, fur or other animal products inside. Shoes come off and go on the racks at the entrance. Photography and filming are not permitted inside the temple, food and drink may not be consumed inside, phones should be on silent, and anyone intoxicated will not be admitted. Parents are asked to supervise children.
Regular darshan hours are 7:00am to 12:00pm and 4:30pm to 7:30pm daily, with Wednesday mornings closing at 10:30am; morning aarti is at 7:30am, evening aarti at 7:00pm, and evening meditation runs 7:15pm to 7:30pm. Navratri timings will differ from the regular schedule and are expected to run later. The temple is at 58 Luisini Road, Wangara WA 6065 - phone +61 423 083 386.
