About This Event
Taste of India Incorporated presents Idhuvum Kadandhu Pogum, translating to Passing Clouds - a collaborative musical and dance production bringing together artists from across Australia and beyond in support of the charity Girls from Oz. Perth is the opening stop of the production's Australian tour.
This year's production is inspired by Mother Nature and the six seasons. It reflects the ever-changing journey of human emotions and experiences, drawing parallels between life and the weather around us: there are moments of sunshine, storms, calm and uncertainty, but none last forever. Just as clouds drift across the sky, every season and every chapter of life eventually moves on.
The Perth performance features the students of Narthanalaya School of Indian Classical Dance, the Australian Girls Choir, and esteemed international and Melbourne-based musicians.
It runs from 4:00pm to 6:30pm on Sunday 6 September 2026 at the Taryn Fiebig Concert Hall at Churchlands Senior High School, 20 Lucca Street, Churchlands. Tickets are booked through TryBooking. General admission is $30 with unallocated seating anywhere in that section, reserved seating is $50, and VIP reserved seating at the front of the auditorium is $100. A donation-only $0 option is also listed for supporters. Tickets were still on sale at the time of checking.
