About This Event
Durga Puja is the Bengali Association of Western Australia's flagship annual festival and the biggest event on its calendar. The 2026 Sharodotsav runs across three days at the Vasto Club in Balcatta, opening at 5:00pm on Friday 16 October and closing at 10:00pm on Sunday 18 October.
BAWA describes the festival as three days of sacred rituals, rhythmic dhaak drumming and vibrant dhunuchi dancing, alongside daily prayers, community feasting and cultural performances by members of Perth's Bengali community. It is the association's home-away-from-home moment for Bengalis in Western Australia, and visitors from all backgrounds are welcome.
Attendance is registered through BAWA's website, which publishes a registration link for the upcoming puja on its Durga Puja festival page. Entry, bhog and meal pricing for 2026 had not been published at the time of listing. For the detailed programme, daily timings, food bookings and registration, contact BAWA or check its Facebook and Instagram pages. The Vasto Club is a licensed community club at 5 Vasto Place, Balcatta, with on-site parking.
