Bhagavad Gita Jayanti & Tapovan Jayanti - 2026

A Sacred Celebration

Chinmaya Mission Sydney invites the community to celebrate Bhagavad Gita Jayanti and Tapovan Jayanti in a deeply spiritual and meaningful gathering at Chinmaya Sannidhi Ashram.

Bhagavad Gita Jayanti commemorates the divine moment when Lord Krishna delivered his immortal teachings to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, teachings that came to be enshrined in the Bhagavad Gita—one of Hinduism’s most profound and influential scriptures. The day also marks the Jayanti of Pujya Swami Tapovan Maharaj, the revered master who imparted the highest knowledge of the Self to Swami Chinmayananda.
