Deepavali Festival & Celebrations (Chinmaya Mission Sydney)

Chinmaya Mission Australia (Sydney) invites you and your family to celebrate Deepavali at Chinmaya Sannidhi Ashram in Castle Hill. It is a joyful evening of devotion and festive cheer with trivia and fun activities, sparklers, prizes to be won and delicious prasad to share, marking the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and goodness over negativity.

The published programme runs 6.00pm Goddess Lakshmi Pooja, bhajans and arati; 6.45pm special family fun with a spiritual twist including sparklers and party poppers; 7.30pm light dinner prasad; and 8.00pm finish. Devotees can take part through Pooja Seva as a yajman, Celebration Seva by sponsoring or bringing sparklers and party poppers, or Prizes Seva by donating prizes for the family activity.

Entry is free but registration is required through TryBooking. Free parking is available at the back of the ashram at 38 Carrington Rd and at 40 Carrington Rd (do not park between APAC bays 20 and 40), with paid parking at the Hills Showground Metro Station public car park.
