About This Event
Kalpataru Day commemorates the day in 1886 when Sri Ramakrishna blessed his devotees like a wish-fulfilling tree, awakening their spiritual consciousness. The Vedanta Centre of Sydney marks it on Friday 1 January 2027 at its Ermington centre.
The evening programme begins with aratrikam at 6:30pm, followed by bhajans by devotees at 7:00pm, a talk at 7:30pm and prasad distribution at 8:30pm.
The Centre asks devotees to register via the link on its events page to help the volunteers cooking and serving the prasad. Car entry is only from Marsden Road.
