About This Event
The Vedanta Centre of Sydney (Ramakrishna Order) celebrates Sri Durga Puja on Durga Ashtami, the eighth day of worship of Mother Durga, on Monday 19 October 2026 at its Ermington centre.
Morning session: worship of Mother Durga from 8:00am, pushpanjali and prasad at 10:30am, homa from 10:45am, pushpanjali and prasad at 12:00pm, anna-bhoga and arati at 12:15pm, and a final pushpanjali and prasad at 12:45pm. Evening session: Kali Kirtan from 5:30pm, arati and Mahishasura Mardini Stotram at 6:30pm, chants and bhajans at 7:30pm, pushpanjali at 8:15pm and prasad distribution at 8:30pm.
The Centre asks devotees to register for their chosen session on TryBooking to help the volunteers cooking and serving the lunch and dinner prasad. There is no parking on the premises; car entry is only from Marsden Road.
