About This Event
Hindu Council of Australia - SA proudly presents Adelaide's grand Deepavali celebration, the festival of lights, at the Adelaide Showground. The organiser's programme lists Ravan Dehan, fireworks, traditional music, Indian cuisine and a full afternoon-into-night community celebration, with the gates open from 12:30pm through to 10:30pm.
The Hindu Council expects 10,000+ guests, making this the largest Diwali gathering on the South Australian calendar. Sponsorship and stall bookings are handled directly by the organising committee, and the event is promoted on Facebook as DiwaliFestivalAdelaide.
Eventbrite lists a free general-entry ticket tier alongside paid tiers topping out at $25; refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.
