Culture in the Kitchen - Potato Curry with Poori

Create a beautifully spiced potato curry with golden, puffed poori from scratch. Over two hours you will learn the essential techniques - dough preparation, rolling and frying - and build confidence working with traditional Indian spices, before sitting down to enjoy the meal you have made together.

All ingredients and recipes are provided. The session is open to ages 12 and over and no cooking experience is necessary; participants are asked to bring an apron and a container to take home any leftovers.

The class runs at the Harpers Field Community Hub in Golden Grove from 6:30pm on Monday 12 October 2026, presented by the City of Tea Tree Gully as part of its Culture in the Kitchen series. Refunds are available up to 7 days before the session.
