Nexus Arts presents Izhar by Farhan Shah at the Nexus Arts Venue in the Lion Arts Centre on Saturday 3 October 2026.
In the programme's own words: "Izhar is an Urdu noun of Arabic origin meaning 'expression,' 'declaration,' 'revelation,' or 'disclosure'. It refers to the act of making thoughts, feelings, or secrets known, often used as izhar karna (to express/confess) to articulate love, gratitude, or opinions."
"Farhan Shah is an award-winning Pakistani-Australian singer, composer, and music producer, widely recognised for his powerful voice and contemporary interpretation of Sufi music. Based in Adelaide, Australia, he has established himself as a leading figure in the global Sufi and world music scene, known for bridging Eastern spiritual traditions with modern musical expression."
Doors open at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 PM performance. General admission is $30 through IWannaTicket.
