Lagna Panchami in Adelaide 2026 (Marathi Play)

Lagna Panchami – Stories of Love, Life & Relationships is a specially curated 100-minute Marathi theatrical experience featuring Swapnil Joshi and Madhugandha Kulkarni, with Trupti Patil completing the cast. Inspired by the themes of the acclaimed Marathi play Lagna Panchami, this intimate presentation combines storytelling, dramatic performance, humour and heartfelt reflections on love, marriage and life. It is an experimental format created exclusively for international audiences and smaller theatre venues, distinct from the full two-and-a-half-hour stage production, and is suitable for all age groups. The performance is in Marathi.

The Adelaide show is on Saturday 1 August 2026 at Payneham Road Uniting Church, 343 Payneham Road, Marden SA 5070. The promoter's own Adelaide artwork gives the session as 5:00pm to 8:00pm; the Premier Tickets listing shows a 5:00pm ACST start and quotes a two-hour duration, so allow for the longer window.

The tour is presented internationally by Flixplay Entertainment together with de ideaz, and the Adelaide date has Adelaide Marathi Mandal as its community partner. From Adelaide the production travels to Brisbane on Sunday 2 August (Star Theatre, Wynnum State High School), Sydney on Saturday 8 August (Science Theatre) and Melbourne on Sunday 9 August (Tony Sheumack Centre for Performing Arts).
