About This Event
Indian stand-up comedian Sharon Verma brings 'Weak Independent Woman' to Adelaide's Rhino Room on Thursday 3 September 2026, presented by Marching Elephants Ent & The Laughter Factory as part of their ANZ, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur line-up.
Born in Bihar and shaped professionally in Mumbai, Verma describes herself as both edgy and scared. The hour is about navigating life with a little experience and a lot of opinions - unfiltered, self-deprecating material from a comic who has appeared on Latent. Some women have it all together; she is not one of them. The show is performed in Hindi.
Doors open at 7:30 PM for an 8:00 PM start and the set runs about 90 minutes, finishing around 9:30 PM. It is a 16+ event with adult content. Seating is allocated on a first come, first served basis, so arriving at least 30 minutes early is recommended. Free parking is available at the venue.
Tickets are $65.70 through Eventbrite. Sales are final - no refunds, exchanges, cancellations or seat swapping. If the event is cancelled or postponed, only the face value of the ticket is refunded, not the booking fee. Ticket prices can change without notice. Photography and videography are not permitted; devices may be confiscated if you are found recording.
