About This Event

The Gujarati Association of Queensland (GAQ) hosts a seniors' lunch and barefoot bowls afternoon on Sunday 20 September 2026, running from 12:00pm to 3:30pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person and must be registered in advance through the GAQ website; the listing shows a booking cut-off of 6:00pm on 20 September 2026.

The afternoon pairs a shared lunch with social barefoot bowls, aimed at senior members of Brisbane's Gujarati community. Registration is handled on the GAQ upcoming-events page, which also offers Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar and iCal downloads so you can save the details straight to your phone.

GAQ is a non-profit incorporated body established in 1993 to maintain and enhance Gujarati culture in Queensland, and today serves more than 1,000 Gujarati families across the state. Alongside social events like this one, it runs a regular calendar of cultural programming and GAQ dance classes. Enquiries and membership sign-up are both available through gaq.org.au.
