Dussehra Mela 2026

Prem Prakash Mandal Mandir presents Dussehra Mela 2026 at Epping Soccer Stadium, its fourth consecutive year running the mela. It opens at 2:00pm on Saturday 24 October and the afternoon builds towards the traditional evening finale, marking the victory of good over evil.

The programme features a live Ramlila, cultural performances by children from the community, and a grand effigy burning, closed out with a fireworks display. Around the main stage there are food stalls, shopping and market stalls, and family fun and activities for children. A lucky draw runs on the day, with a brand-new car as the prize.

The mela is family-friendly and billed for all age groups. Entry is free, but registration is compulsory - book a free ticket through Premier Tickets before you come.

Right of admission is reserved and bags may be searched; anyone behaving inappropriately can be removed from the venue with no refund, and the organisers reserve the right to broadcast or record parts of the event.
