About This Event
Sri Sai Siva Vishnu Temple in Truganina holds its Ganesh Chaturthi Mahotsav over twelve days, from Monday 14 September to Friday 25 September 2026, with the temple's published programme window running 7:00pm to 8:30pm each evening. The Mahotsav is organised by the Sri Sai Siva Vishnu Temple Arts, Educational & Cultural Association and is open to all devotees.
Devotees can take part by sponsoring the festival. The temple lists an all-days sponsorship at A$1,000, a single-day sponsorship at A$151, and an Annadhanam (meal offering) donation at A$75. All pooja items are included in a sponsorship; sponsors pay online, complete the registration form on the temple's event page nominating which day they wish to participate in, and then show their payment confirmation at the temple counter on the day to collect their pooja items. Sponsorship is optional and the temple does not publish an entry charge for simply attending.
The temple is at 16 Sunline Drive, Truganina VIC 3029, phone 0411 611 031. It is open all seven days from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and on-site parking is available. A day-by-day breakdown of the rituals had not been published at the time of checking.
