About This Event
Sri Sai Siva Vishnu Temple in Truganina marks Krishna Janmashtami on Friday 4 September 2026 from 7.00pm to 8.30pm. The evening closes the temple's Sri Krishna Mahotsav, the run of daily Krishna celebrations held from 29 August through to 4 September 2026.
Attending is free and everyone is welcome. Devotees who wish to sponsor the Janmashtami pooja can do so for A$101, which includes all pooja items, and a separate Annadhanam (food offering) donation of A$75 is also offered. Sponsorships are paid online on the temple's event page, after which you register your first name, surname, phone number and email on the same page. Bring your payment confirmation and show it at the temple counter on the day to receive your pooja items.
The temple is at 16 Sunline Drive, Truganina VIC 3029, in Melbourne's western suburbs, and is open seven days a week from 9am to 12pm and again from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Enquiries can go to 0411 611 031.
