Shirdi Sai Sansthan Melbourne marks Raksha Bandhan at its Camberwell temple on Friday 28 August 2026. The temple's own poster for the day sets out a full-day programme of pooja and aarti rather than a single evening ceremony, opening with Kakad Aarthi at 7:15am and closing with Shej Aarthi at 8:45pm.
The published running order is Kakad Aarthi 7:15am, Ganesh Pooja 9:15am, Baba Abhishek 9:30am, Yagno Pavitdharanam 10:15am, Madhyan Aarthi 12:15pm, Dhoop Aarthi 5:45pm and Shej Aarthi 8:45pm. Devotees are welcome to attend for any part of the day.
There is no admission charge. The poster states that all donations and bookings can be made at the temple counter on the day or by bank transfer to Shirdi Sai Sansthan Melbourne Inc, BSB 063001, account number 10344693. The temple's website also takes separate bookings for Abhishek, clothing, car pooja and langhar.
