About This Event

Celebrated Gujarati folk singer Kirtidan Gadhvi, widely known as the Garba King, headlines Rang Che Gujarat 2026 in Melbourne on Saturday 8 August 2026. Renowned for his powerful vocals and electrifying stage presence, he brings the spirit of Gujarat to Melbourne with a night of traditional Garba, Raas and soulful folk music — energetic performances, colourful festivities and an atmosphere built to keep the floor moving all night. It suits dedicated Garba enthusiasts and first-timers alike, and is listed as appropriate for all age groups. The programme is in Gujarati.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, the show starts at 7:00 PM and the listing runs to about 10:00 PM. The venue is Westgate Indoor Sports, the indoor stadium inside the Westgate Sports and Leisure Centre at 61-69 Dohertys Road on the corner of Grieve Parade, Altona North. Note that the ticketing page mislabels the venue as 'Westside Indoor Sports' with postcode 3029 — the correct postcode is 3025.

Tickets start at $17.50 through Premier Tickets; the cheapest listed tier is a Family of 4 option covering two adults and two children, so confirm the per-person breakdown at checkout. A booking fee may be added per ticket. All sales are final — no refunds, exchanges or cancellations — and you will need a printed ticket confirmation plus valid photo ID for entry. Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest traditional attire. The event is presented by BD Entertainment.
