About This Event
Bengali playback singer and National Film Award winner Rupankar Bagchi performs live in Melbourne on Saturday 15 August 2026. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the concert starts at 7:00 PM at the Kew High School Auditorium in Kew East.
Rupankar is best known for his work on Bengali films including Baishe Srabon, Aparajita Tumi, Hemlock Society and Jaatishwar, and the programme draws on those film songs alongside the wider repertoire he has built since starting out as a young performer. The set blends melody, storytelling and contemporary arrangement, and the auditorium setting keeps the evening intimate rather than arena-scale. Songs are performed in Bengali and Hindi, and Premier Tickets lists the show as suitable for all age groups.
Tickets start at $49.00 (Gold) through Premier Tickets. A booking fee may be levied per ticket, so confirm the total before paying.
