About This Event
Sri Sai Siva Vishnu Temple in Truganina holds its Sri Krishna Mahotsav from 29 August to 4 September 2026, running nightly from 7:00pm and finishing with Krishna Janmashtami on 4 September. The temple's poster states that all are welcome and there is no charge to attend.
Each evening's programme centres on a special pooja and a palki (palanquin) procession, followed by Maha Aarti and an Annadhanam dinner served to the congregation.
Sponsorship is optional and supports the festival. Full sponsorship covering all days, including annadhanam hosting, is A$600 and is described on the poster as 100% tax deductible. Single-day hosting is A$101, and a standalone Annadhanam donation is A$75. Business sponsors are also welcomed. All pooja items are included in a sponsorship; sponsors pay online through the temple's website, then register their details on the event page and show the payment confirmation at the temple counter on the day to collect their pooja items. If you sponsor a single day, the registration form asks you to nominate which day you want.
