About This Event
The Indian Edit brings a celebration of Indian fashion to Melbourne Fashion Week on Monday 19 October, 6pm to 8pm at Kensington Town Hall, spotlighting the colour, craftsmanship and contemporary creativity of Indian design, from richly detailed textiles to modern silhouettes shaped by heritage and identity.
The evening includes a discussion on Indian fashion, its growing impact in Australia and the creative opportunities between Indian and Australian designers, makers and audiences. Featured labels include Biba, Paaro Couture, Kulture by K and Punar. Welcome drinks and nibbles are provided; general admission is $59 via Humanitix.
