India Grocer — Canning Vale

I visited this Indian grocery store today in the afternoon and I noticed a drastic improvement in customer service compared to my last visit, which wasn’t a very good experience. While I was looking for some items, a staff member approached me and genuinely helped with everything I needed. She also suggested alternative products and had very good product knowledge, which made shopping much easier. This positive experience influenced me to write this review as a token of appreciation. Keep up the great work!

I called Indian grocers and asked whether the place have raw peanut with skin and they said yes. I came all the way from Byford to buy keeping my 11 month for babysitting with one of my friends. I asked the lady serving about it and she mentioned that they don't have it. However, i mentioned that i called you guys before coming here. She mentioned that i must have called somewhere else. Then i called the same number i called before, and there phone ranged. Moreover she started kind of interrogation that what you asked over the phone etc. She made it as if it was my fault. Didn't apologised even once, when i mentioned that i am not happy and it's inconvenient. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never coming here ever and will tell all my friends and family not to visit here.

Great variety of everything. Very clean and orderly. Prices were reasonable. Unfortunate that the roadworks are currently making it a pain to get to but if you are struggling to get what you want elsewhere, shouldn't be a problem here. The big let down was the service. Never saw a person who could help. When we got to the check out the guy was on the telephone. He never even acknowledged our existence. Just scanned the items and took our money. Didn't once even make eye contact.

Went in to buy some sweets but found a couple of things for our liking. The shopping experience was good overall, it's just that you don't expect the professionalism as you see around in Australia. It's a desi store and I like it for. Kaju katli and Boondi laddoo were very nice.
