Indian Spice House

We went to Indian Spice House in Ellenbrook last week for the first time and bought a lot of items. When I cooked the Kottu Mee (chicken flavour), it had a terrible smell. I checked the expiry date and saw that it had expired 2–3 months ago. I was really frustrated and disappointed. This will be my first and last time shopping there. I wouldn’t be surprised if those expired Kottu Mee packets are still on the shelf. 🤢🤮

Have had good experiences so far. Asked recommendations for Samosas previously, was recommended some & they turned out quite nice. Yesterday, spoke to them about aloo pratha and was recommended one. Will try it out! Seems very well stocked. Always welcoming experience coming in, even if only for a browse ans not buying anything. Would give 5 Star if they had prices on each item to save us having tk ask if they are busy. They do have a sister shop in the complex facing Chemist Warehouse and they sell most of the Indian cookware, even Tandoor ovens & large pots, etc.

My friend turned up at the shop to buy some snacks. The staffs there were clearly gossiping about her in their language with mixtures of English and looked her way. Disappointed and disgusted that this had happened. Do better. Clearly, staffs have nothing better to do other than B.S.
