Desi Shaadi - Dinner Dance Fundraising

Desi Shaadi is a fake-Bollywood-wedding themed dinner dance staged by Bollywood Dance Studio as a fundraiser for Telethon, held at the Sicilian Club Perth in Balcatta on Saturday 5 September 2026.

Doors open at 5:15pm. From 5:45pm to 7:15pm there is a Bollywood dance show performed by BDS talent, with entree served at the table. A three-course authentic Indian buffet dinner follows from 7:15pm to 8:45pm, then games and raffle prizes from 8:45pm to 9:30pm, and a dance workshop plus open dance floor from 9:30pm through to the 11:00pm finish.

Tickets are $70 per adult and $60 for children 12 years and under and for seniors. Babies who do not require a seat do not need a ticket. Seating is allocated at round tables of ten. The ticket price includes the three-course buffet dinner; all buffet options cater to vegetarians, and other dietary requirements such as vegan or coeliac can be accommodated if you email Maitri after buying your ticket and before 15 August 2026. Drinks are BYO, including your own drinkware.

Dress code is Bollywood or Indian wedding guest attire, or smart casual. Bookings are through TryBooking, where most of the thirty tables have already sold out.
