About This Event
The Jazz Room: A Journey to the Heart of Bollywood uncovers the swinging jazz DNA woven into Bollywood's most iconic melodies, played on stage by a live jazz band. The show traces jazz's decades-long journey through Indian cinema since the 1940s, from the smoky, cabaret-style groove of 'Kaisi Paheli Zindagani' to the playful energy of 'Eena Meena Deeka'.
The programme includes 'Eena Meena Deeka', 'Intaha Ho Gayi', 'Kaisi Paheli Zindagani', 'Tu Bole Main Bolun' and 'Girls Like To Swing', among others. It is set in a warm, intimate atmosphere with a cocktail-in-hand feel.
The show runs for about one hour and is 18+ with valid ID. Perth Town Hall is wheelchair accessible. Tables in the shared-seating zone are allocated first come, first served.
