About This Event

Rangmanch Production presents The Mystic Lamp (English) and Adbhut Chiraag (Hindi), adapted from a Bengali short story by Sirshendu Mukherjee. Set in Kolkata in 2005, the play follows Aniket Bose, whose ambitions take an unexpected turn when a mysterious lamp brings a genie into his life.

Choose one of four separate performances at Nexus Theatre, Murdoch University: Hindi on Saturday 3 October 2026, 3–5 pm or 6–8 pm; English on Sunday 4 October 2026, 3–5 pm or 6–8 pm. The calendar start shown is the first Hindi session. Select your preferred language and session on the official booking page.
