About This Event

Tulu Koota Sydney presents Bisu Parbha 2026, a joyful community gathering celebrating the traditional Tulu New Year and harvest festival. Bisu Parba is a significant annual festival for the people of Tulunadu, rooted in positivity, abundance, and togetherness. It marks the first day of Paggu, the first month of the Tulu calendar, and is celebrated as a symbol of prosperity from the past year and hope for the year ahead.

This meet-and-greet event brings together Sydney's Tuluva community for an afternoon of cultural celebration, exciting events, and shared tradition. The festival is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow community members, celebrate shared roots, and introduce the next generation to the rich heritage of Tulu language and traditions.

The event runs from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Galston Community Centre. Note: Tickets are sold out — join the waitlist on TryBooking for any cancellations.
