Motta Maadi Music - Breathless Tour Sydney

Motta Maadi Music return to Sydney for the third time with the Breathless Tour, at Manning Bar on the University of Sydney campus on Saturday 1 August 2026. This is billed as a brand-new show with a brand-new setlist, built as three playlists of roughly 45 to 50 minutes each, and a lyric book is emailed to ticket holders about four hours before the show so the room can sing along.

Motta Maadi Music is a Tamil band led by Badhri Seshadhri, featuring an ensemble of musicians who take you on a journey through your favourite Tamil songs, singing together and bringing a little bit of home to far away from home.

Running order on the night: doors 7:30pm, support act Anika & Duo at 8:00pm, and Motta Maadi Music on stage at 8:20pm, with the show scheduled to finish by 10:30pm. Please note this is a standing concert, the event is 18+, and the language is Tamil.

Tickets are sold through Moshtix: Student $44.91 (student ID is checked on the door and door pricing applies if you cannot produce one), General Admission Standing 18+ $75.49, Early Entry $95.83 which includes entry from 5pm and an exclusive sound-check experience, Couple/Group of 2 at $65.29 each, and Group of 10 at $67.95 each for a 10% saving. The Early Bird release at $65.25 is exhausted. A $4.20 transaction fee applies to the order total.

Access note: the Manning Bar lift is undergoing maintenance and will be out of order for this show, so bookings that require the lift cannot be accommodated - with any questions. The venue is on Level 2 of Manning House, Manning Road, University of Sydney, Camperdown, and is owned and operated by the University of Sydney Union.
