Nakhra Desi Frat House - Sydney's Best South Asian Frat Party

Nakhra: Desi Frat House is a one-off South Asian club night at Room 22 in Potts Point, running from 10:00pm on Saturday 8 August 2026 through to 3:30am. The organisers pitch it as somewhere between a college frat party and the playlist you grew up on: varsity jackets meeting subtle Indo fusion, red cups in hand, and a dance floor of people who know every lyric whether it came from Bollywood, hip hop or somewhere in between.

The playlist is billed as 'Drake meets Dhol' and the dress code is Frat Fits x Indo Fusion. A professional photographer will be shooting through the night. Student discounts are available, and anyone celebrating an August birthday can message the organisers on Instagram (@nakhra_au) for birthday perks for themselves and their group.

Tickets run from $19.99 to $27.35 through Eventbrite and are described as limited; door tickets may be available from 10:00pm if the event has not sold out earlier. Tickets are non-refundable. This is a strictly 18+ event - valid physical government photo ID is required for entry, and students must present valid physical student ID to use the student price.
