About This Event
IndAus Events stages its Navratri & Diwali Mela at the Carnes Hill Community & Recreation Precinct in Liverpool — a free, family-friendly indoor festival marking the start of the festive season. The organisers describe an indoor shopping experience with more than 30 vendors covering festive fashion and traditional clothing, jewellery and accessories, homewares and gifts, along with Indian food and sweets.
Alongside the marketplace the day carries the festive programme you would expect at a Navratri and Diwali mela — music, dandiya and cultural performances — in a free-entry, all-ages setting in south-west Sydney.
Entry is free. For stall bookings and details the organisers list 0481 829 616. Doors open from 11:00am; the advertised finish has been published as both 8:00pm and 9:00pm, so confirm the closing time with the organiser before travelling late in the day.
