Sri Venkateswara Temple at Helensburgh marks Vijayadasami on Tuesday 20 October 2026 with Vidyarambham at 10:00 am.
Vidyarambham is the formal beginning of learning, traditionally the day on which children write their first letters. Vijayadasami closes the temple's Navarathri Utsavam programme, which ran from Sunday 11 October through Durga Homam on 18 October and Saraswathi Pooja on 19 October.
SVT Helensburgh is one of the largest Hindu temples in the southern hemisphere. The temple is open 8am to 7pm without a break on festival days.
