About This Event
Adelaide Film Festival presents the Australian premiere of Lovers in the Blue Night, directed by Anuparna Roy. Set in Mumbai, the drama follows Karim, Ameena and the people drawn into their search for love and a life beyond survival.
Screenings take place at Palace Nova Eastend on Saturday 17 October 2026 at 7:15 pm in Cinema 4, and Friday 23 October at 8 pm in Cinema 8. The calendar start shown is the first screening; choose your session through the festival website.
The feature runs for 107 minutes and is presented in Hindi and Marathi with English subtitles. It is unclassified 15+ and screens with the short film Nikki's Revenge.
