About This Event
AALAP Indian Association Inc. holds Mangal Navratri 2026 on Saturday 17 October 2026 from 7:00 PM at the West Adelaide Bearcats Basketball Club, Port Adelaide. The association bills it as its biggest community event of the year and as the biggest local Garba celebration by local artists.
The published programme is Garba and Dandiya on the floor, live music performed by local artists, food stalls, and a lucky draw with prizes. AALAP describes it as a family-friendly and 100 per cent non-alcoholic event.
Entry is $10 per person, with free entry for senior citizens and for children under 11. The association notes that this year's venue is a larger stadium with plenty of free parking at the venue and across the road at Hart's Mill, Port Adelaide.
