About This Event
A free spiritual evening for Raksha Bandhan hosted by The Brahma Kumaris Adelaide, exploring the deeper meaning behind the festival of tying the sacred thread of love and protection.
The two-hour, in-person session runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Adelaide time on Monday 3 August 2026. It is framed as an inspiring evening to explore the deeper spiritual secrets behind the festival, experience inner peace and understand the divine connection the rakhi represents, rather than a social celebration alone.
The special guest is Sister Vedanti, Regional Director of the Brahma Kumaris' activities in Africa and a senior meditation teacher with more than 60 years of experience.
Entry is free, but a ticket must be registered through Eventbrite and registrations close at 5:00 PM on the day of the event. The session is held at 2 Turner Street, Felixstow SA 5070 — note this is a separate venue from the Brahma Kumaris' main Adelaide centre at 232 Glynburn Road, Tranmere, so navigate to the Felixstow street address.
For enquiries call 0423 988 439.
