ISKCON Brisbane is a Hare Krishna temple at Darra in Brisbane's west, part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness that A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada founded in 1966. Its deities, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, have been worshipped by the Brisbane congregation for close to fifty years, now from a converted church near Darra station. Temple life centres on Saturday kirtan, aarti and a vegetarian prasadam feast, daily Srimad Bhagavatam classes and Friday harinam chanting in the city.
