About This Event
The BAPS Kids Diwali Celebration (KDC) is a family event celebrating Indian culture and Hindu traditions, where children learn the meaning of Diwali through creativity, stories and the spirit of seva (selfless service). Canberra's celebration runs from 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday 15 November 2026 at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Taylor.
Expect a day of games, cultural experiences, food and activities for the whole family. BAPS notes that attractions vary by centre and are subject to change. The event is inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj's words, "In the joy of others lies our own", and encourages children to grow spiritually and spread kindness.
Entry is $5 for adults and $5 for children, with registration online through BAPS.
