About This Event
Sri Vishnu Shiva Mandir Canberra holds its ten-day Dasa Dina Nithya Mahothsava Festival from Friday 27 November to Sunday 6 December 2026. Most days open with a morning homam and special pooja (7:00 am on weekdays, around 9:00–9:35 am on weekends) and close with an evening special pooja and uthsavam.
Highlights include the Maha Ganapathy Homam on opening day, Sri Venkateshwara Swami Maha Abhishekam (28 Nov), Aiyappa Swami Padi Poojai (29 Nov), Sri Rama Pattabhishekam (1 Dec), Lalitha Sahasranama Archana (2 Dec), Sri Vilakku Poojai by devotees (4 Dec), and the Ekaadasha Rudra Paaraayanam with Sri Siva Maha Abhishekam (5 Dec).
The Grand Finale on Sunday 6 December features the Vishnu and Shivan Thiru Kalyana Utsavam at 9:00 am and the 108 Sankha Abhishekam with Pradosha Poojai from 4:30 pm. Mahaprasad is served every evening, and families can sponsor any pooja for $250 per session.
