Guru Purnima - Satyanarayan Vrat Katha, Aarati and Bhojan Prasadam

The Hindu Temple and Cultural Centre (HTCC) invites you and your family to a Satyanarayan Vrat Katha on the auspicious day of Vyasa Puja (Guru Purnima). The katha begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday 29 July 2026 at the temple, 81 Ratcliffe Crescent, Florey, and runs until 7:30pm. It is followed by Aarati and then Bhojan Prasadam, so plan to stay on for the community meal after the service.

Guru Purnima is kept as the day to honour one's guru and the sage Vyasa, and the Satyanarayan Vrat Katha is the recitation of the story of Lord Satyanarayan. The whole family is welcome and the temple has not asked for bookings, so you can simply come along on the evening.
