About This Event
ArtSound FM and Radio Manpasand present an Indian classical instrumental and vocal double bill at Wesley Music Centre, Forrest, on Sunday 1 November 2026 from 6:00 pm.
The first half is a violin solo recital in the gayaki ang style by Pandit Milind Raikar, accompanied by tabla. The second half is a vocal recital of khayal and thumri by Vidushi Shubhra Guha, doyenne of the Agra gharana and a guru at ITC Sangeet Research Academy Kolkata, with Ms Somdatta Chatterjee accompanying. Jagadeesh Kurthkoti plays tabla and Bhargav Sridhar plays harmonium.
