About This Event
AY Events Australia presents a high-energy Garba and Dandiya night with Indian Idol star Kavya Limaye live in Canberra. Daughter of the Gujarati vocalists Sachin and Ashita Limaye, Kavya is a playback singer known for her vocal range and her stage presence, and she will perform non-stop traditional Gujarati folk rhythms mixed with modern festive beats.
The night runs from 7:00pm to 11:00pm on Saturday 1 August 2026 at Franklin School, 135 Oodgeroo Avenue, Franklin. The organiser recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before the start so entry is seamless.
Tickets are released in phases. Early Bird at $15 and Phase 2 at $20 have both sold out; the Final Phase adult ticket is $25 and still selling. Children under 7 enter free. Bring a printed or digital copy of your ticket. All sales are final: tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, and the booking fee is not refundable if the event is postponed or cancelled.
The event is 100 per cent non-alcoholic. Right of admission is reserved and the organiser may evict patrons for misconduct. For questions contact AY Events Australia on 0415 649 824.
