About This Event
The Hindu Temple & Cultural Centre of the ACT invites the community to its annual Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra, the traditional chariot procession where devotees seek the blessings of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra. The morning opens with a Sankalp Puja from 9:00am to 10:00am, followed by the Pahandi ceremony and the chariot walk.
The event is free to attend and open to all. Devotees who wish to take part in the Sankalp Puja may do so with an optional donation of $101. The celebration takes place at the temple grounds in Florey and is a family-friendly religious gathering.
