About This Event
Swami Sarvapriyananda gives a free public lecture in Canberra on 'Harmonizing and Integrating the 4 Yogas on the Journey to the Divine - Underlying Philosophy and Practical Application'. Swami Sarvapriyananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order and the Minister and Spiritual Leader of the Vedanta Society of New York. He is known for his teaching on non-dual Vedanta, with a particular emphasis on direct inquiry into consciousness and selfhood, and has spoken at TEDx, Google Talks and leading universities worldwide including Harvard.
The talk is on Thursday 20 August 2026 in Manning Clark Hall at the Lowitja O'Donoghue Cultural Centre, Australian National University. Please arrive early and be seated by 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start; the booking page lists the session as finishing at 7:45pm. Paid underground parking is available at the Centre.
Seating is limited and registration is essential — register through vedantacanberra.org/sarvapriyananda, which links to TryBooking. Entry is free, but the organisers carry the cost of travel and the hall booking and would appreciate a donation, either by PayPal or by transfer to Vedanta Centre of Sydney - Canberra Chapter, BSB 082-980, account 577668187.
