About This Event
Celebrate the Festival of Lights with family and friends at Aintree Diwali Mela 2026, an evening of cultural performances, food, live entertainment, shopping stalls and festive celebrations that bring the spirit of Diwali to life.
The organisers promise the warmth of community with traditional music, energetic dance performances, family-friendly activities and a lively marketplace featuring a variety of festive vendors. Billed highlights include cultural shows, clothing and jewellery stalls, giveaways and lucky draws, live music and bhangra, carnival rides and a kids' fun zone.
Whether attendees are celebrating with loved ones or experiencing Diwali for the first time, the mela is pitched as a family day out in Melbourne's outer west.
